Rachel V. Green Write about something that makes your heart beat faster, something you wake up smiling about and can't wait to sit down and create. Write passionately, because that excitement will shine through your story and captivate your readers, as it has already captivated you.
Rachel V. Green Through reading a truckload of YA paranormal books, so many that I temporarily ran out of things to read. I decided that the only option was to write one myself!
Rachel V. Green Guardians Volume 2 of course!
Rachel V. Green The best thing about being a writer is having the opportunity to create the very world I've been wanting to disappear into.

A writer can build the perfect universe, characters and context to satisfy his or her own literary cravings. That feeling of standing in a bookshop and reading title after title trying to find the right narrative to scratch your itch? A writer can satisfy it simply by sitting down in front of their trusty laptop. Sooooo satisfying!
Rachel V. Green Walk, walk, walk. Nothing clears my mind like a walk through muddy fields or provides inspiration like a dramatic skyline. If I'm really stuck I put on my headphones and listen to a song which fits the scene I'm struggling to write. Placebo's cover of "Running Up That Hill" and Muse's "Supermassive Black Hole" were particularly helpful in writing Guardians. Brilliant.
