I really do try to write through it! Otherwise, I take a little bit of time out to read or watch a movie. I find though that if I take too long of a time away from my manuscript, I have a harder time coming back to it.

This book is a long time coming and a combo of wanting to write a mother-daughter story as well as a found family story! I had been thinking about it for a while, and wrote it once as a YA, and in a completely different setting.
