It really is difficult to pin-point a single couple. I personally like strong personalities. But in a couple I like to see their chemistry, balance of personalities, their bonding, acceptance, acknowledgement and respect. How they complete each other ...Goosh! the list goes on.
Based on these basic I would say, I liked:
* 'Elizabeth & Darcy' in Jane Austen's Pride & Prejudice;
Also, liked:
* 'Hermione & Ron' in JK Rowling's Harry Potter series;
* 'Bridget & Mark' in Helen Feilding's Bridget Jones's Diary;
* 'Bella & Edward' in Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series
Oh! There are more. But I'll leave it for another time. :)

I grew up in a diverse and segmented society. This diversity made us, as a community, both vibrant and strong. But, at the same time we faced many challenges. ...Constant friction between the old and new, people of different ages, classes, races and sexes, etc...etc.
In my travels around the world, I realized, these issues were not really as local as I had perceived. They existed everywhere. What was also common was that world over people were equally determined to resolve them in there own ways.
I believe the answer to be out there somewhere. We just need to stay focused and keep looking. ...So, I think this wide world and the universe in its entirety has what inspired me to embark on this journey. ...Come along and join me!

Luckily, not encountered this dreaded monster head on! Sometime, came across bits during my writing adventure, I was not particularly happy with, or they were not as I would have liked them to be. At such times, I wrote the first thing that came to my mind and kept going. As the story moved on, those bits became untangled themselves.
