I am currently working on a book called, Surviving Special Education. As a teacher, I saw daily many things that worked against children actually being successful in the Special Education Programs. My book is geared towards parents who want to help their children and teachers who want to help their students.

As a teacher when Common Core was rolled out, out school started before textbooks were available. As a result, we had to develop our own curriculum from the actual Common Core Standards. The next year, when we received textbooks, I realized the difference between what was being called Common Core and what was actually Common Core.
