This little rhyming book literally came into my head in the middle of the night. I woke up with the words perfectly formed at 3.13 am on May 10th and they were so clear, that I got up and wrote the first page down. Then I went back to bed, only to have the next page come in, and the next and the next. I was up and down out of bed for around an hour and in that time the book was completed. I had always believed in the power of the words I AM and how our thoughts create our reality but it's as if this book was given to me to get out to the world - perhaps because it's written in rhyme so it's a very simple and easy to remember format. I found out months later that the late spiritual teacher Dr Wayne. Dyer was born on May 10th at that exact time, which sent shivers up my spine. I'm sure it was a message from him that he wanted to get out into the world - or maybe he was simply giving me a wake up call and saying ' Stop procrastinating about writing and just do it!' as up until then I had written lots of stuff but not published any of it. Now I've just got to finish these next ones before he wakes me up again!

My imagination and the world around me. Things just pop into my head and away I go - the trick is to get the thoughts down in time.

I'm currently working on two follow up books in the I AM series and also a children's series. I have to admit that I actually have 40 or more books in various stages of completion so my task is to finish writing one, before I start writing another! (I have a bad habit of doing that when I am reading as well and will often have 6 or 7 books on the go at any one time.)

Just start. If you have a story inside you, then tell it. Don't worry about how others will perceive it - write it for yourself in the first instance and then take it from there. Do your research as well and make sure you have someone proof/edit it.

Sharing my creative passion with others and being my own boss, even if it does mean writing in the middle of the night when an idea comes in! My head is always full of delightful thoughts that amuse me and make me smile - at the moment, I'm working on a children's series and it's nice to be able to bring some happiness to others also.

The best way for me personally to overcome writer's block is to allocate a certain amount of time a day to write - even a small amount like 10 minutes - if I can break it down into manageable time chunks and not worry too much about what I'm writing, the words general start to flow easily.
