Jon Cocks Once the initial idea lodges in my brain, it kind of gestates until I am compelled to start expressing it in the page. Jon Cocks 'Angel of Aleppo' was inspired by my Armenian wife Lilit’s own grandmother Anoush, who witnessed a Turkish soldier murder her own mother in 1915.
