What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Katja Meier I love to be able to work from home and the flexibility to organize my own work schedule. Also just being my own boss. But that obviously also means you can't blame anybody if things aren't working out well (-;

Katja Meier By stories - or angles of stories - that the world hasn't heard yet.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Katja Meier I started working in an Italian refugee home in the summer of 2014. I have been blogging for years but felt that the stories I heard at the shelter and the issues I was personally struggling with couldn't be told in a couple of blogposts.
