Brian D. Howard I'm working on book 2 of RiftWorlds Online, my LitRPG series. I'm planning on attending a couple of local conferences this summer, and by 2020 expanding that to regional or national ones.
Brian D. Howard Oliver has become more pragmatic than the more optimistic software engineer who moved from Seattle. On his better days he's fairly solution-driven. He'd see tiny houses as a good temporary solution. They're inexpensive, and big enough for the few possessions most homeless have.

For him, he still dreams of having a "real" place one day. I think he'd personally pass on them and stay with "his people." He'd probably talk about waiting until he could get a "real" apartment but I he's more likely to surprise himself by buying out a church or something and renovating it into a group home.
Brian D. Howard Right now I have six or seven novel ideas lined up in the same setting. They're superhero novels, most of which interconnect in some way. The first one, Simon Rising, is about a telekinetic vigilante and comes out March 9th. The second is about a police officer who comes in contact with an alien artifact and finds herself with wings and permanently on fire. That one is fully outlined and has much of it fleshed out as detailed storyboards.
Book three is fully outlined, but the rest are ideas with varying degrees of notes.
Brian D. Howard For me, some of it is committing to working on something writing-related every day. I have more than one project going on, to one degree or another, so sometimes it's a matter of which one am I in the right head space for that day.
But if I really don't feel any creativity flowing then that's a time for me to do some editing.
I also have lists of interview questions that I ask my characters when I don't feel I have a direction for something.
