Hi, I really wanted to read this book but as I tried to download it, my credit card was blocked due to security reasons and some money was withdrawn (although the book should have been for free) Where can I get this book from via a secure source? Thanks Claudia

Sorry, this happened to you. I've been out of touch for some health reasons, but I'm happy to say a revised version of Desert Ice will be available on kindle on 10/31/2022 if you are still interested.

Is Desert Ice the beginning of a series? I hope it is! If so, when will the next one be out? If not (*super sad face*), what are you currently working on?
Rose Maefair Hello! Sorry it has taken me so long to answer. My 9-5 job has been less than 9-5 this past year due to a large project. To answer your question, I do plan on a sequel. I'm currently trying to finish up story set in the near future where a combination of science fiction and mystery paint the backdrop for romance.

So I was going to buy my first MM paperback and I chose Desert Ice for my first because I loved it so much, but there is no paperback option on Amazon or Loose-id! Is there going to be a paperback version? I really hope so

Thank you so much! That means a lot to me! Unfortunately I do not have a good answer for you. Right now, I know of no plans for a paperback release of Desert Ice. However, Loose Id does have the right to release one if they wish. So, my best advice would be to contact them and ask if they would consider a paperback release. While Loose Id is very responsive and supportive of their writers, I think this type of feedback might be more impactful coming from their readers. Thank you again, and happy reading!

No question here. just read the desert ice novel and thoroughly enjoyed it! you made me fall in love with both characters! oh, and p.s., I saw you were from Southern Indiana. I grew up in Princeton, just above Evansville....maybe that's why I like your "people"? thanks for the adventure!
Rose Maefair Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the book and loved the characters. You're from around Evansville? That would probably make me a little more central Indiana, comparatively. I grew up in the northern part of the state. I will say, moving between the two parts certainly taught me about different cultures! For example, back home we'd never use the word, "Y'all." ;)

Rose Maefair Writing is a chance to escape to alternate universes of imagination where asking the question, "What if?" creates ripples of possiblities and consquences. It allows me to play tourist, adventurer, and great creator all at the same time. There's no other feeling like it. - RM
