Meg D. Gonzalez Hey Medomfo! I planned three books for the International Adventures series, so they're all already out!
Meg D. Gonzalez Hi Scott! I love audio too. Book #1 was in production when it was first released, but the narrator backed out part way through the project. From what I understand, my publishing house is not pursing re-recording it. It's a bummer and completely out of my control. But luckily, since each book is a stand-alone, they can can be read or listened to independently.
Meg D. Gonzalez Hi Maria! I'm so glad you enjoyed Salty Crisps. Sketchy Tacos was in production, but then the narrator backed out part way through. To my knowledge, my publishing house is not currently pursing re-recording. It's a bummer! But luckily each book can be read as a stand-alone, so you can at least enjoy the books that are out there.
Meg D. Gonzalez I don't really believe in writer's block. But I do believe in creative exhaustion--especially during outlining, where you're creating the entire story in condensed form. Then I'll take a break for an hour or maybe a day, get some exercise, do something I find enjoyable but not taxing, and sit back down to tackle the problem again. Often a short break will lend you the perspective you need.
Meg D. Gonzalez The best thing about being an adventure writer is that I have to have adventures to write. I love to travel and discovering other countries and locations to do so is the best!
Meg D. Gonzalez Keep writing and learning about the craft of writing. Attend a good conference if you can! Only through constant exercise and training can you strengthen your writing skills.
Meg D. Gonzalez I am working on outlining and writing the next books in the International Adventures series! Up next is Julia's adventure in Germany.
Meg D. Gonzalez I find writing has little to do with inspiration. It has to do with sitting yourself in front of the computer every day and typing away faithfully. I do find this task a lot easier and more fun when I'm better rested, so I try to get plenty of sleep!
Meg D. Gonzalez I lived in Mexico for a year and I loved the vibrant people and vivid culture around me. I knew I just had to share!
