K.S. Weachter I write purely on inspiration. The characters tell me a story and I try to keep write it down. When the characters go silent, I ask them questions, what do they want? Where are they going? How are they going to get there? How do they feel about it?
K.S. Weachter For me, the best thing about writing is quieting the voices in my head. The people that beg me for more keep me going.

K.S. Weachter Stories play like movies in my mind. Sometimes a word or statement on tv or the radio will formulate a story. From there I create characters, timeline and place.
K.S. Weachter While going through my ancestry the draw of the 1920's brought to mind prohibition, the end of WWI and the struggles of people. Drawing on the combination, I imagined a young woman having to work in order to keep the house her parents built. The rest of the story wrote itself.
