I can't say I've ever felt "blocked". I tend to write like crazy till I've finished a book, then I edit and dial back a little while the next story percolates. And then I go at it again.

I churn through my reading list fairly quickly. Right now I'm reading Martha Grimes' "Dust". After that, "Insomnia", by Stephen King.
