Samuel J. White It's something I loved doing since I was about 8 years old and I was trying to write a novel at 18 and was half way there when luckily the back up disk got broken. I say this because it would have been the most poorly written piece of shite in history. I finally finished my first novel at 31 and my second at 32. Now the one I was writing in my teens is next on the list for a re write and it will be 100 times better than it was. I now have a whole universe in my mind where endless stories can happen and all interlinked with each other and the characters I've created.
Samuel J. White Keep at it, if your work brings joy to one person then in one more than nobody. I'm sure if you work hard enough and put quality before earnings and put the readers happiness before yours then just maybe you might make some money. But I'm not holding my breath because I've made a loss so far, However if you enjoy what you do it should not matter.
Samuel J. White I'm not sure really I liked writing the books but I don't like trying to market them because people are either not interested or out to ruin hard work. However I hope to be proven wrong. I love trying to form a character in my mind and it feels good to see their story finally on the page.
Samuel J. White If I get writer block for my current work I just go and work on my other ideas.
Samuel J. White I haven't decided yet I'm waiting to find something from another unknown writer like myself.
Samuel J. White I am currently working on several sequels to After the derailment part one the middle of nowhere. Right now I am working on Part 2 The dark hides many things and due out later this year 2017. When all sequels are finished I will then be working on these titles which all tie in.

The Red headed witch. A story of dark magic heroism involving a character mention in the previous books.

The trouble with Re- Animation. A story set thousands of years into the future when people who died in the 21st century are brought back to life with interesting and devastating consequences.

The Empty Graves. A mystery where 3 adult sisters looking into the disappearance of their father and brother discover that hundreds of people have disappeared on their farm. When a young boy becomes the latest victim they will make a discovery that will turn their world upside down. A porthole to another universe hidden under a waterfall on their farm.
Samuel J. White My inspiration for my most recent book came from constant trips in the dark driving along the Acle straight in Norfolk which a very marsh land that stretches with for miles with only the road and railway crossing it. I imagined what it would be like to be stuck out there in the dark with the road shut.

I used 2 characters who I first thought up when I was at school and I put them in that situation. I then added to those charters by making them in charge of a company which traveled on the train. I based the company on a door to door sales company which I worked for for about a week, who used trains to travel. I then expanded the story to tell the tales of several people.

I also had several thought about what might be hiding out in the dark causing the story to become very scary. The bad people hiding in the dark are linked to another story I've been working on for several years.

A few of the characters in the story are linked to my first novel The hitchhiker in the hay stack also known as The Broccoli the Stilton and the hay stack. I want people to have fun making the links between my work.
