Anything can be inspiring: a photo, music, a baby's giggle, an elderly couple holding hands, etc. But it's my desire to make people smile, thing, even sweat a little that motivates me to write.

I have several projects in the works. To start, I have a short story, "Harmonious Variation" and a novel, Life's Roux: Wrong Doors, scheduled to be published this year. I have another novel, Out of the Penalty Box, scheduled to be published in February 2018. Additionally, I have four short stories I'm finishing and one novel being edited. Plus, there are a few other projects. It's a very exciting and busy time. I'm happy to have these opportunities.

Know your story. A writer needs to know exactly what it is he/she wants to accomish and how he/she wants to accomplish it.

Being able to tell a story that entertains others. If just one person enjoys the story I tell, I have been successful.

There's only one way and that's to plow through it. I write, delete, write, delete. Sometimes, I edit previous chapters and that clears what I need to have happen next.
