I think it helps to have a routine for writing, so you sit down to write even when you feel blocked and just start writing freely about anything - like warm up exercises. And understand your creative process, knowing when you just need to rest and ferment ideas and when you're really facing a writer's block. Beyond that, really supportive writing friends who will encourage and motivate. Of course, you could have a peek in my book 'Pathways through writing blocks...' published by Sense Publishers.
