I am so, so sorry I have not answered you sooner. I’ve only just seen this question. Thank you for your incredibly kind comments. There will be an End of Everything 15, but I can’t tell you when yet. I’ve just released Unsafe 4, a parallel series to the Safe Haven story. As you can probably guess, I don’t come on Goodreads an awful lot other than to update my blog.

Safe Haven 2 - Realm of the Raiders is heading to the editor in a couple of weeks. I will be starting book three in earnest in April, and after that I've got at least three more projects lined up.

Anything can provide inspiration. The smallest detail or thing can spark your curiosity - A single sentence from a conversation with a stranger to an out of place silhouette on a moonlit night. It doesn't take much to get the cogs whirring.

A long, long time ago. It was originally going to be a play about two siblings becoming guardians of their younger brother and sister after the death of their parents. At that time, it was a "triumph over tragedy" drama, not a "post-apocalyptic zombie-fest". The play never got written in full, but the characters stayed in my head. Mike and Emma have been in their for over twenty years and for me, they are the ones who gave birth to the story.
