Sue Allerton I've always loved the concept of angels and demons and exploring the line between what's considered good vs evil. The main species are angel-demon hybrids and I felt it would be good to explore those two concepts.

I started writing this series when I was 18 and it was a way for me to deal with a lot of emotional stuff happening at the time. Over the years its developed into what it is today and it means so much to me and makes me so happy that people are reading it and enjoying it.

I hope that answers your question :)
Sue Allerton I was thinking about this the other day, I'm re-watching Naruto for like the fourth time and I remembered the last time I watched it was when I get the idea for The Demonic Convergence.
It was supposed to be a dark fantasy based around life in an academy for supernatural beings, but it ended up evolving into something so much more than that.
Sue Allerton I leave whatever it is I'm working on, there's no point forcing myself to write if I'm not feeling it.
I'll watch some anime, play a game, go for a walk or read a book, anything other than writing.
The inspiration always comes back when I least expect it.
Sue Allerton I never had many friends growing up, but writing these characters and seeing them grow and develop, I feel like they're real.
Sue Allerton Don't give up.
I know it sounds cliché, but that is one of the best things.
Also reading, never stop reading. Read in the genre you want to write, read from many different authors.
Sue Allerton I've currently got around five projects on the go.

The Demonic Convergence series based around angels and demons.

The Forgotten Chronicles, a fantasy series based on a fey slave fighting in a competition for her freedom.

And the other three will be announced at a later date.
Sue Allerton I get an idea from something I'm watching or playing or even just randomly and that idea forms an almost movie in my head.
At this point I don't really have a plot in mind but a vague idea, I'll start writing and the more I write, the more the plot and events formulate.
