Write about what you see, not what you're looking at. I think that we often think that we have to write something profound and beautiful and really, to many of us, what is truly profound and beautiful is our own perception of the everyday. That's what each of us know inside and out and when we read something about it that surprises us, we know we have something good in our hands.
