I don't have a lot of advice to offer, because my book hasn't been released yet. I will say that asking other people besides your family and friends to read your story is a must. Networking is also a great way to learn more about the business. It can be very overwhelming, but if you've got a good support system, that can go along way.

I love alpha males, but I hate it when they are too cocky. So, I decided that I wanted to write one that was intriguing and strong, but still humble and likable. My female lead character is a lot like me, she is insecure and flawed, but also kind and very loyal.

I read A LOT! It keeps my mind current and fresh. I also listen to country music. Every song tells a story, and I love that. It's so inspiring. Sometimes a thought will just pop up in my head and I'll just run with it.

The best part about being a writer is that you can bring your thoughts and idea's to life. That the characters that live inside your head can come out and bring other people enjoyment. That's pretty amazing.

I'm currently working on my second novel. Its called Hard To Stay. Its a spin off from my first novel Hard To Love, but can be read as a stand-alone.

I've learned in order to write it, I need to feel it. When I'm struggling, I will go for a walk and listen to music to help clear my head. I also like to read frequently, it keeps my creative juices flowing.
