Veronica Di Dato I took a writing course at university and one of the ideas there took hold of me. Now I'm editing the first story in that world. :)
Veronica Di Dato When I do something, taking a walk, listening to music, watching a series, anything really, I tend to get a flash of inspiration or idea. I keep a notebook close by so I can scribble it down, and then go back to it afterwards and see if it still excites me. If it does, then I start thinking about ways to write about it/incorporate it in existing stories.
Veronica Di Dato I always make sure I have a lot of things going on, so when I run into a snag with creativity I can switch my attention to something else. That way I don't get too focused on being stuck. I usually comes up with things when I'm doing something else, so by the time I get back to my writing I'm not stuck anymore. If all else fail, I take a walk in nature.
Veronica Di Dato The first full-length novel in the Taigeria series (full name Taigeria Archives), connected to the first Taigeria Short Story following Alexa.
