I get inspired by reading. I also get inspired by those around me. My surroundings. Lot's of things happen through out the day. It's crazy because just one moment in that day can be turned into a whole novel.

The best thing about being a writer to me is there are no limits. No one can limit how far you want to take your work. All the things you might be afraid to say out loud you can put on paper. The persons imagination can be endless, but we rarely get to see it. That's where writing comes in. It's freedom.

Honestly this is all new to me. I just published my first book. I didn't really deal with it. When I was at a point where I couldn't focus anymore or nothing was coming to mind. I would just close up shop. I turned off my laptop and walked away from it. Then I would come back another day turn on my laptop and start writing again.

That would have to be Travis and Abby from Beautiful Disaster. I read that book at least once a year. I love them because it reminds me of my first love and how young and chaotic we were together. We could never seem to get our crap together. But at the end of the day we knew we could never be without each other. That's Travis and Abby.

Honestly I don't know where it came from. I just had two guys in my head and I had their names. Jake and Bobby. I didn't know if they were friends or enemies. One day I wrote a little piece where Bobby found out his girlfriend was cheating on him with Jake. I took it from there and went all the way back to beginning and started writing. Ava became the girl both of these guys were in love with.
