I've been so busy designing the new website, working on the new content, new cover, and blurb for anniversary re-release of Highland Stone, and finishing the first draft of Highland Soul, plus working at the day job, that I haven't had much time for reading. :-( However, I am currently reading Christmas in Atlantis by Alyssa Day.

I have to force myself to tune out, ignore everything else that is going on. The only writer's block I ever experience is because I allow myself to be distracted by working late at the day job, letting what's going on in my children's lives distract me, or letting the whining dog distract me. :-)

Write, write, write. Don't worry about editing or making everything perfect. That comes with the editing phase. The most important thing is to get the story down on paper (or computer). If you have the opportunity, join a writing group or find critique partners.
