No matter how "bad" you feel it is, no matter how "hard" you think it will be. Write the damn thing. Aint no one going to buy a book that isn't available. And, no one is going to buy a first draft. Drafts can be fixed, it's not the end of the world. Write the damn book, and write it with passion.

You just power through. Sometimes writers block only lasts for one scene that may be hard to write, but once that scene is powered through, 3 hours have passed magically and boom, you had a whole writing session.

Music, or if I read a good book or watch a good movie. If something touches me emotionally, I feel the urge to write something because I want to be responsible for someone else's "feels"

I've had the idea since I was 9, sort of. A lot of things have changed since then, of course, but I've always wanted to write an adventure story with cultures throughout history meshing in one big action-packed, back stabbing, political bloody adventure.
