Hi Tony, I won a Kindle copy of your Get Ready!: A Step-by-step Planner for Maintaining Your Financial First Aid Kit from Goodreads, but my copy or file must be defective because the type is so small I cannot read it. The Kindle allows me to enlarge about 2-3 sentences at a time but I can’t read it this way. Any ideas? Or do your sponsors have any ideas what to do about this? Tony Steuer Hi Debbie, Thank you very much for your interest in Get Ready. Another reader just notified me of this issue. My publisher has indicated that there is an issue with Kindle version compatibility.

I have sent a friend request with information on sending you a version of Get Ready in a format that works for you.

Hi Tony, Are you aware that your book "Get Ready!" can't be downloaded on many common kindle devices? After winning one via Goodreads, I was dismayed to find I can't access or read it because the format is not compatible. I love personal finance, but have never seen a title focused on this. And was looking forward to ensuring my financial house is emergency ready - seems like it would be a great pandemic activity.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Tony Steuer The idea for my most recent book - The Questions and Answers on Insurance Planner was to provide a broad-based insurance literacy corner piece that all consumers and advisors can use as a baseline for all of their insurance issues - overview of coverage types, figuring out what you need (and don't need), how to get it at the lowest price.

Tony Steuer Inspiration for writing can come from many places. Sometimes it's something that I feel strongly about and other times it's something that needs to said or is not being said.

Tony Steuer Another workbook to supplement my current line workbooks to broaden the insurance literacy library. More simple answers to complex questions on insurance.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Tony Steuer Best Advice for aspiring writers is something that was passed on to me is that if you have a book inside of you, it will want to get written and will eventually come out, so you have to just get started and let the words flow.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Tony Steuer The best thing about being a writer is that you can express your opinions. The best thing about being a writer who's books get read is learning about the impact that your books have on others which as a non-fiction, personal finance author is rewarding.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Tony Steuer Great question. Writer's block can be a challenge. The first thing is to try to take a break and do something completely different. Sometimes, an idea will come to me at those times where I'm focused on something completely different. If you don't have that luxury, I will outline as much as I can and then keep drilling down on the outline (filling it in) until the writing kicks in. Hope this helps.
