It's simple. WRITE. Write often; write a lot. Even if you're a naturally gifted writer, you still have to put it into practice. The only way to get better is to write more. So again, WRITE!

For me it's getting the stories out of my head and into the world. I've often written an entire story, or at least all the beats, in my head before I've put anything down on paper. While it is satisfying to me to have a story I've enjoyed swimming through the seas in my mind, it's so much better to get it down and then share it with others.
