I'm so sorry, I haven't been active on here for a while! No, the prequel isn't a promotion anymore as it's now part of the overall Ace of Hart book - it frequently goes on kindle free promo, so watch out for that one and you can grab it free :)

This is a tough one and a common one, I've found that setting regular 'writing sessions' helps. Knowing that I have four hours, dedicated to the book, or new writing, I kind of force myself into a frame of mind that doesn't allow for more procrastination or lack of writing. And as before, doesn't matter how bad it is, just keep going and then come back to it and edit.

WRITE WRITE WRITE - you can edit what you write, you can't edit what doesn't exist. So, just write, whatever it is, however bad, or unpolished you think it is.

I think having a good mindset is key. I try to actively set out a time frame in which I'll do book related stuff. Whether it's research or editing. Most of the time, it will include a few hours of writing too.

I was always a huge fan of James Bond, and the more I watched movies and TV shows about spies, the more the ideas came to me. The most recent one though, came from watching Covert Affairs!
