Hi Mariia! I would say it wasn't until I held the first copy of my first published book in my hands. Writing and editing and revising all felt like it was just leading up to that moment, and when I opened the box and picked up a book I had created is when it finally hit.

The Shire. Hands down. It's peaceful and slow-paced and full of nature - the perfect place to read, write, live, thrive.

My beta readers, editors, and husband. The more people I can bounce ideas off of, the better! Simply discussing the books and characters with others brings a sense of determination to tell the story as best as I can.

Stephen King is my biggest influence, as well as his son, Joe Hill. Ron Perlman is also an inspiration. He's very big on following your dreams, and has said encouraging things during interviews and in his book that pick me up when I feel overwhelmed or when I'm struggling with my work.

SO MUCH. Not daily events, per se, but something that influences my stories is emotion. I like taking how I react to things and how certain events in my life make me feel and applying those emotions to my characters who may be experiencing something similar (or sometimes something totally different).

Fantastic question! Took a bit for me to think about this. In 2004, I was in an awful car accident in which I was knocked out cold; I don't even remember the moments before we got to the intersection. To this day, my memory of that night is a big black spot (which I'm okay with, because I don't WANT to remember that!). I bet there's a good mystery story that could be written about it and what could have happened during the time I was unconscious!

I love working on revisions of unreleased content, discussing the characters and their choices with fans, and brainstorming ideas for future adventures with my beta readers.

I watch and read a lot of comics, and love stories about anti-heroes. I wanted to create a story that made the readers root for the bad guys just as much as the good ones, as I believe no one is truly 100% good or 100% evil.

Finishing up the cover design for Grim Ambition (A Grim Trilogy #1) and the final pass of line edits, then I'm on to editing Grim Judgment (A Grim Trilogy #2). The first draft is complete already!

Don't stop. You might get "writer's block" at some point. Just ignore it and let it pass, find something to get you in the mood to keep writing (see one of my other answers on here). Do whatever it takes to keep you in the zone, to keep you writing more and more. Because it is the best feeling in the world when you get to share what you've created.

Getting to share the world and characters you love so much with everyone. I also love discussing the characters and their decisions with my readers, as it encourages me to write more and more!

Whatever do you mean? I would never do such a thing! #RIPShawn :D

Honestly, I just don't write when that happens. It is too frustrating to deal with. Coming up with things you want to be great and compelling will work best when you're "in the zone" of writing, so I just ignore writer's block until I'm inspired to continue the journey with my characters again.
To get inspired, however, I love working on revisions of unreleased content, discussing the characters and their choices with fans, and brainstorming ideas for future adventures with my beta readers.
