Quiet music, hot tea, and no interruptions. Then I analyze what I'm stuck on, rework it so that whatever is fighting me stops, and then I write.

My favorite thing about being a writer is having the opportunity to tell stories. I love coming up with worlds and people and then bringing them to life.

Read and write as much as you can. The more you read, the more you learn about the language of fiction. Even if you're not analyzing it carefully, you will pick up skills from reading other's work. And just like any other art form, if you do it a lot, you will get better. Make time to write every day, and you'll have a finished piece sooner than you'd think.
