I am currently working on getting my blog on personal finance up and running. The blog will be a way for me to interact with my readers and feed useful information on finance and investing. I also plan to follow up with more books on topics such as mutual funds, good money habits etc.

If you have a book in you just get it out. You cannot control if it will sell , if you get good reviews etc. But the fact that you have got the book published will be a terrific confidence boost. Get out there and write. Contribute your thoughts, you will be surprised by how good you feel after you have a published book that has your name on it! Its an amazing feeling.

Being a published author gives you the feeling of having done something which only a minuscule percentage of the population has accomplished! It is a great honour to get your thoughts in public so that they can be debated and firmed up.

I spent many days staring at a blank screen. Two things helped me to overcome this. Write everyday without fail , even if this is not related to your book. Write with the spell check and grammar check turned off so that the flow of writing is not stopped. Documents can be edited later. Just get what is in your mind on to paper so that writing can progress.

I honestly feel that many investors are intimidated by the idea of investing in the equity markets. Most of the literature out there has examples from US markets etc which an Indian investor cannot relate to. We also felt that a honest book by a successful investor can inspire others to consider equities to build wealth. We want to continue this with a series of books on personal finance sharing strategies that can motivate people to march towards financial freedom
