Love is the great mystery in my life. So it will likely be the plot of a lot of my stories.

I just let myself imagine worlds and ideas and then take that to another level. Perhaps the hardest part for a new writer is that sometimes they try to force a story rather than let their inner child imagine a story idea.

Don't worry yourself so much with writing a perfect story. Write what you know and let the rest take care of itself. Also don't be afraid to test out story ideas with family and friends. They can be both an inspiration as well as a critic to help you right a better story. Finally be ready to take negative critique. Not everyone will like your story. But just because you get a bad review doesn't mean that everyone will hate the story.

It gives me a sense of bringing back my inner child. I can explore imaginary worlds that I may have only done as a kid and turn that into something that hopefully entertains the readers as much as I have allowed my imagination entertain me.

Well so far I have not experienced this. I'm sure at some point this will happen. However for me I tend to write what I know and what I feel will entertain the reader as I have imagined the stories. I have several ideas that I am toying with for future novels. I don't avoid letting my imagination explore ideas that I think will make for a good story.

This answer contains spoilers…
(view spoiler)[The second novel in the Reversione series is nearly 3/4 of the way done. It will be entitled 'Lost in Time'. It takes many of the elements of the first novel in the series and expands upon them. As well several twist and turns that I hope will keep the readers attenton. There will also be an additional love story, not really seen in the first novel. Finally, the ending will have a lead up to the next novel, which has a taste of a cliffhanger. It will be unexpected of course. But it also will hopefully give the reader a sense of more to come. (hide spoiler)]

I literally began dreaming the idea for the Reversione series when I was 16 years old. It took me 30 years to finally decide to write the first novel. The elements of the first novel have been added as I got older. In fact the idea for the global disaster was an element that I only came up with last year.
