I was writing a piece on how the legend of Lawrence of Arabia was launched at Massey Hall in 1919 and ran across a reference to cyclists have used the CNE grounds for training in a newspaper article. And like most people, I had never heard of bikes being used in war, never mind the Canadian Cyclist Corp Battalion. I've been hooked by their story ever since.
