Ted Glenn Walking, running - anything that allows my brain to escape into other environs for a while. I seem to be able to get over a block by letting my brain idle at another task, usually physical.
Ted Glenn I've just finished the research for a book of historical fiction set in 1860s Canada that puts paid to the notion of Canada's peaceable origins. And now comes the fun part - writing the story.

Ted Glenn I was writing a piece on how the legend of Lawrence of Arabia was launched at Massey Hall in 1919 and ran across a reference to cyclists have used the CNE grounds for training in a newspaper article. And like most people, I had never heard of bikes being used in war, never mind the Canadian Cyclist Corp Battalion. I've been hooked by their story ever since.
