Scott Clark I wish I knew. Ideas seem to just come to me from nowhere. It's usually when I'm doing something completely unrelated to writing. I may be at work, in the shower, or driving to the grocery store. It may be something someone says, a line in a song, or absolutely nothing. Then, poof, an idea appears.
Scott Clark Currently, I have too many ideas and not much time to write. It isn't really an issue. My attention tends to wander between projects, so I usually have an idea or two for something. But, like I said, I don't have much time to write, so if I do experience a block, most times it passes on its own before I have a chance to get too frustrated.
Scott Clark Too much. I have a novella in the editing process, another in the beginning stage, and two novels that im currently writing. I've also got an idea for another, and a short story that's almost complete.
Scott Clark Write. And read. Those are the best tools to help you improve.
Scott Clark It gives me a creative outlet. Life is difficult. Everyone has problems and gets stressed out. When I write, I can leave all of that behind and enter a world where I am in control. Nothing happens unless I want it to.
