C.J. Cooke She doesn't? She purchases the plane ticket herself - using her own name - and is reimbursed by Maren. There is no requirement for Maren to see the plane ticket in order to issue this reimbursement.
C.J. Cooke I find writer's block is usually caused by self-doubt, or fear, and I've discovered some techniques that help. Scribbling ideas with pencil on paper feels less scary than typing straight on to my laptop, so I'll do that for a while. And it's important to 'fill the well' - inspiration comes from visiting art galleries and museums (or, when possible, a European city!), reading, listening to music, and occasionally binge-watching box sets.
C.J. Cooke When something sparks my curiosity I usually have to write about it in one way or another. It might take a while for me to mull it over before setting pen to paper but it'll come through eventually... I am in awe of so many things, and angered by many others - these emotions (with a side order of curiosity) tend to fuel my writing.
C.J. Cooke I'm currently finalising the edits on THE NESTING, a psychologic gothic set in Norway due out in 2020.
