I had the idea when I started the first book in the series, I was reading through some mythologies doing research and realized that this would be more than one book to tale the story I wanted to tell. I didn't want to write and exhausting read and feel that Louis L'Amour had the right idea. write your books where someone can spend a few hours and get a great story.
