For my latest book, I used music. I would listen to Eva of Destruction by Barry McGuire and We Didn't Start the Fire by Billy Joel. Both songs cover historical events that get my blood boiling and remind me why Americans desperately need the messages I share in Repairing Our Divided Nation.

Both of my books have been inspired by my anger and frustration with our society. I believe we can create a better America for all Americans.
One of the frustrations I have had is my belief that our educational system has hurt society by not requiring students to obtain a deep understanding of our Founding, the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, racism, and what we Americans should expect, and maybe more importantly what we should not expect, from our federal government. If it had, I don't believe we would have the political and racial divides we have today. I show how this can be fixed.

I read 17 books from noted scholars and countless articles, and put together some messages that all Americans need to hear.
