Hi Judi,
There isn't an 8th book coming in the mountain man series. When Amazon cancelled the preorder on Belonging last year, they left the original book listing as part of the series, which is why is shows as 8 books. This is a glitch on their part, but unfortunately they won't do anything about it.
But there is more coming in the Mountain Man world, starting with Blaze, which is the first book in the new spin off series. Its available to preorder now https://geni.us/BlazeGW

For me its being able to shut the characters up in my head. For months prior to writing Echo the characters would torment me, appearing in my dreams and acting out some of the scenes that made it into the book. Right now the lead characters in book #3 are all shouting very loudly to be heard. ;)

I'm most definitely not qualified to give anyone advise because I'm an aspiring author, i think it will be many years and many books before i can offer advise. But i will say if like me this is something you have dreamed about doing your whole life, then do it!! Its hard and sometimes heartbreaking but I wrote a book and so can you.

Echo has been talking to me for a long time now. I promise i'm not insane, i just found myself daydreaming about a strong alpha biker who falls for a girl. Usually at the most inconvenient moments id have a scene play out in my head and then rush to try and get home to write it down. Echo is quite literally the voice in my head and i hope you love him as much as i do.

This is my debut novel, but I've wanted to write a book ever since i was a child. As a voracious reader the quote 'I have lived a thousand lives' is so incredibly true and through books I've visited far off lands and met bikers, pirates and cowboys just to name a few. Its just so happens that my dirty mind and love of a good smutty book has lead me to write what I love erotic romance.

I'm currently writing the second book in the Archer's Creek series, its an interconnected standalone and so far i'm loving it!!!
