Melissa Ellen The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, of course, to play quidditch!! :) Thinking about this has me realizing it's been way too long since I have reread those fabulous books!
Melissa Ellen Oh, wow! Where to start...I think the first ones I am dying to read are 180 Seconds (plan to start this week), Big Little Lies, Two by Two and The Impossible Vastness of Us. I am sure I will be reading many more after those.
Melissa Ellen Getting lost in another world. It is one of my favorite things about reading, also.
Melissa Ellen Fortunately, I never had writer's block on the first book. The second book I had a little one after I got half way through. When that happened, I just stepped away for a few weeks. Once I finally sat back down, I decided to just start typing something and see where it led me.
Melissa Ellen Don't overthink. Just sit down and write. Let it flow naturally. You can always go back and rewrite. Also, don't forget to enjoy it and allow others to enjoy it with you.
Melissa Ellen By my fans and readers. The first book was something I did for myself. A story I needed to tell, even if nobody read it. I had my sister and a friend read it as I wrote each chapter. Their enthusiasm encouraged me to keep going. Now seeing and hearing other readers enjoy it, pushes me to want to keep writing.
Melissa Ellen It was a story that had been in my head for quite some time. I pulled from many of my own personal experiences along with others that are close to me. I didn't actually know how the story line was going to unfold. I just had one scene in my head and took it from there.
Melissa Ellen I am currently working on the sequel to A Reason To Stay. I hope to have it wrapped in a few weeks!
