Can't believe I missed this question. Thanks so much for asking though.
The series will have 6 books. Three novels and three short stories - The Proem, The Premiere and The Pegasos,
Barring any problems The Premiere should be out in October or early November. It replaces The Pith in the series. I wrote that story, and a couple other short ones but didn't like them that much so chose to shelve them. =) Thanks again for your question!

Having someone read a story and tell you something about your characters or your book that I didn't realize. It's a bit of a light-bulb moment and exciting!

Get to it! If writing is a dream of yours, don't let anything stop you from accomplishing it. While we all admire the big time authors out there (Maya Angelou, Stephen King, Chinua Achebe etc), we just have to be ourselves and create the worlds we want to see (or don't want to see). Our stories can be big or small, short or long. All that matters is that we write, write and write some more.

Right now, I'm hard at work on three different projects. Two of them belong in the Nome Chronicles universe - The Pith (a short story and sequel to The Pursual) and The Paladin (which allows us to discover what happens to the main characters after The Pursual).
My third project is a completely new story and series that's in its infancy so I can't share yet. =)
