I don't get writer's block but I do have times where I'm not able to write as many words as I know I'm capable of. Usually, I will re-evaluate my outline to see if something there that isn't working and that's why the words aren't coming as freely. In other cases, I like to remind myself why I'm writing; because I enjoy storytelling so much! And as a last resort, I'll skip the part of my story that is giving me so much trouble and continue writing the next bit. I find what's been holding me back, and why, will present itself as I continue to write further on into the story.

The Illustrator I work with shared some of his past illustrations with me and one of them was my biggest inspiration for the entire world I created. If not for the House illustration I don't think the Twin Crossing series would ever have happened.

Inspiration comes to me from everywhere. From the music I'm listening to, the book I'm reading, or the movie I happen to be watching. I try to keep my mind stimulated with new ideas at all times and I write them all down, even if I never make anything out of most of them.
