Caroline Walken In my small town we experienced the tragic disappearance/murder of a young woman. It was a quick leap to convict her boyfriend since they had quit a turbulent relationship. However...did the courts get this right. There had been rumors that she was killed by a drug dealer after she and her boyfriend double-crossed him. The desire to explore this plot is tempting, the pain it could unearth for her family however is not worth it.

So, it remains a rumor and unexplored.
Caroline Walken Hi Gus, this sounds very interesting. Let's work together on this, please email me directly at authorcarolinewalken@gmail.com.

I need a new read with all this crazy stuff going on! Stay safe - keep writing!

Caroline Walken I have to admit, I loved the most recent JK Rowling's Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them! It combined both my love of animals and the time period of the 1920's.
Caroline Walken I admit it, I am old school. I like the women in my books to be strong and independent. I don't mind if they get into trouble, I like it better when their trouble ends up at their love interest door!

I kept reading book in which the women were too submissive, too agreeable..yuck! I was complaining to my husband I couldn't find anything better to read. He was the one who encouraged me to write.

In the beginning it was just a passing hobby however once I began...I couldn't stop!

Caroline Walken I love the ability to become lost in another world. During a project I see the world as that character, as far as thinking about how she may react to day to day events.
Caroline Walken The only solution I have found to fight writer's block is to simply get away from the keyboard and think about something else. Sometimes I will watch a favorite move or read a book. Many time I will go out and play with the horses and redirect my mind entirely.

I don't panic about it however, eventually something will come to me. The hard part is when inspiration does hit I want to be front and center to the lap top writing away!
