I wouldn't call it a mystery, but something that has always confused me is that I was number one a hit list when I was in mid-20's. That's right, someone had put me on their own personal list of people to kill. I don't get, I'm not a bad guy. But I guess in his world I was.

Conversation with friends seems to be the best way for me to over come the block. With so many projects in the works, it is easy enough to switch gears between them, but that doesn't mean block doesn't happen. When it does and conversation doesn't help I go for a walk, read a book, or flip on the TV. Relaxation is the key. Don't get frustrated, the block will not go away if you do.

Don't worry about writing for others. Tell the story you want to tell. Read it, edit it, read it again, then share it with others. If they like it, they will tell you. If they don't, you still wrote a story that you wanted to tell.

I'm currently working on several projects. Vol 3 of Dark of the Moon, New Beginnings; a scifi story, a short modern mythology for an anthology, two nonfiction works, a gay male erotica, and high fantasy novel as part of a project with a friend.

It started as a short story for a magical realism anthology. Work got the better of me and it wasn't finished in time. I set it aside for over a year. That work doesn't exist for me any more, so I sat down to write. And voila! It was done in no time.
The idea came about because I wanted to tell a story in allegory, to teach how doing spell work without consent can backfire. Thus the title.
