What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

David Kurman It is a bit cliche but just write. All the anxiety and worrying about how to write and when and why... it just gets in the way. You have to just do it, consistently, at the same time every day (or at least on a regular schedule) as if it were a job. Cause it is.

How do you deal with writer’s block?

David Kurman I write out of order... meaning, if chapter 6 is giving me trouble but I am excited about what I can do in chapter 17 then I jump to chapter 17. I will go back to chapter 6 when it 'clicks'. And if I just never get inapired to work on chapter 6 I question whether what I had planned as a plot point in that chapter is really necessary. Or if I can address that plot point in a simple sentence that starts chapter 7.
