Since I'm currently working on the Terran Diaspora series the world I would travel to would be the world of Attunga. In fact I do go there, every day, in my mind as I'm close to publishing the second book.
As to what I would do? - Meeting enhanced dolphins and friendly Artificial Intelligences would be first on the list.

Mparntwe, a companion story to Attunga is in the early stages of the publishing process. I'm hoping it will be available by August /September of this year (2017)
As new stages are reached information will be posted on the Diaspora Tales blog: https://diasporatales.net

Attunga started as a mind game. I was intrigued by the American futurist Ray Kurzweil's idea of the Singularity when computers acquire their own intelligence and started designing a space habitat for a time 200 years into the future - a kind of 'what if?' game with diagrams and specifications for life on such a place. One night I thought a good way to present such a scenario would be with a short story. The characters and ideas took over and the short story became a full novel.

I don't have to be. I have more ideas than I could ever develop.

I'm working on two projects.
The main one is a companion story for Attunga called Mparntwe. At this stage the story has been through its first big edit and I've just started the resulting revisions, corrections and additions.
The other project is a fantasy story about a young elf who is banished from Faerie.

Read lots and lots of books and stories.
Write, write, write and then more writing.
Don't expect everything you write to be a masterpiece. If you write pages and pages with only a few sections you really approve of, don't worry. You'll recognise those sections immediately and they'll help you improve your future writings.

This varies. A feeling of achievement is an ongoing background pleasure, but those moments when a reader tells you that your story touched them in a special way are extraordinarily rewarding.

Wiriter's block is rather complicated and my response varies greatly.
Sometimes I go and do other things for a while.
Sometimes I concentrate on a different section or aspect of the story.
Sometimes I make notes of what I'm looking for in the troubling section and draw up an outline of where it will go.
Sometimes I find the only way ahead is to delete the section where I'm blocked and start completely afresh.
Occasionally I'll write through the section with whatever comes into my head, without regard for flow or structure or grammar, just so I've got the content down, then spend a lot of time on revision.
