Regarding blogs and articles, I write when I have something to say. As for full manuscripts, I work best early in the morning when my brain is fresh from a night's sleep.

I had been teaching bible study lessons, and I read an article about an author who was being pushed by his publisher to finish a manuscript. He couldn't finish because he was concentrating on his blog. This inspired me to convert the bible study lessons into book form.
