The best thing I like about being a writer is that I feel like I am working to accomplish a life-time goal. I've wanted to be a full-time writer since I was 10 years old. While I can't do it full-time right now, that is what I am working towards.
I love to escape in my stories and I love to see what my characters are going to do next. Most of my writing feels like dictation as I watch the story unfold in my imagination and it just comes to me easily as if they were actually talking to me.

Having started the Kingdom of Jior series with "Of Demon Kind" and continued the adventure in "Redemption of the Fallen" I am working on book three, "Heirs of Jior." It is at the publisher now and is in the throws of being born on paper and eBook. It should be out in early 2019.
Additionally, I am perfecting book four and have begun writing book five.

My inspiration comes from two places. One, I like to escape reality. When the weight of the world rests on my shoulders, I write. The second inspiration comes from the world I created itself. The Kingdom of Jior is such a wonderful, exciting, adventurous place in my imagination that I can almost see, hear and feel each character, every castle and room and even the mountains I created in my mind. I'm inspired to escape and rest my brain for a while and so, I write the stories that come to my mind.

The idea for the Kingdom of Jior series just developed over time. After I wrote "Of Demon Kind" the second book developed out of the cliff-hanger I left in book one. So, I had to resolve that. After book two "Redemption of the Fallen" I got the idea to continue the series through the lives of my main character's children. Thus, Heirs of Jior was born! Book three will be coming soon in early 2019!
