I don't believe in writer's block. Believing in something gives it power. A block implies there's something that needs to be fixed or removed in order for me to let my genius flow through me. And I don't subscribe to that idea.

The ideas for my books come to me as an internal download.
The book I'm currently working on, my second, was downloaded to me as I was walking through a parking lot to get a coffee. My mind was quiet and I was very present to myself and the moment. The idea just poured through me. I grabbed a pen and paper immediately and outlined my next two books. It changes and evolves as I write it, but that's how the initial inspiration hit.

Writing, for me, is an external representation of what I'm experiencing internally. It's taking what's inside of me and putting it out into physical manifested form. There is nothing better or more magical than that.
