Nauja Lynge By being outdoor. I love seaside walks.
The ongoing issues in the Kingdom of Denmark is a debate I take part in and it almost makes me feel called upon to do something. To me it`s best done through my writings.
Nauja Lynge I don´t deal with writers block. I simply only write when I have something at heart. If I have to try too hard then it´s because I don´t have anything to tell the world on that particular day.
Instead I use the day to read more on the subject I am interested about.
Or if I get stuck in the middle of something I go for a walk.
Nauja Lynge Wait until the right moment where you have something at heart. Then start writing without restricting yourself and without looking too much on what are popular trends in your genre.
To me it´s when I feel something in my own body whether this be pain or joy that my story starts taking form.
When I get stuck I take a long walk down to the beach. It always help me get everything fall into place. It is also where I get new ideas by being out in the nature. And when I hear stories that are interesting I write them down. They might come in handy later on when I need inspiration for describing something.
Nauja Lynge It´s an amazing opportunity to express yourself without the usual restrictions of communication on difficult matters. When I am writing I almost live in another world, where my imagination work over time in a way that makes the adrenaline pump.
Nauja Lynge I am currently working on a number two for "Ivalu´s Color". Currently the working title is simply "Ivalu´s Color 2".
Two of the characters have moved to Denmark. This is also a mystery and a very political story. Greenlanders in Denmark live under a lot of pressure and are being met with major prejudices. This cannot go on. I want to adress these issues via fiction.
Nauja Lynge To me it is a mystery why there is so much tension between my two home countries - Greenland and Denmark. I have experienced so many hurtful things. I let my imagination form the plot based on this.
Nauja Lynge On my debate page on the Danish Kingdom. I felt an urge to address issues regarding this in a new way. I find the world of fiction a wounderful to way express myself. It´s like I´m an explorer and part of a Greenlandic cultural revolution.
