I'm working on creating a podcast where I converse with other international adoptees about their adoption experiences. The podcast will be featured on my website, beyondtwoworlds.com. I'm still working out the details, but hope to launch during the mid-autumn festival 2017. I'm also in the development stage of writing an anthology featuring international adoptees and highlighting their unique adoption stories.

My book is a memoir, so what sparked the idea of writing a memoir was the reunion I had with my birth family in Taiwan and the search that led up to that reunion. I also wanted to compose a narrative that reflected the losses that comes as a result of adoption from the perspective of an adoptee. Often, people view adoption from the perspective of adoptive parents and the industry of adoption. I wanted to share my experience with other adoptees who are searching for their birth families are hope to one day search.

I get an idea then run with it. I need a space that lends itself to creativity, which could be my living room on the sofa, or a favorite coffee shop, and uninterrupted time.
