Steven Sterup Jr. Right now I have ideas for at least five books and, as I'm prone to do, I am having problems making up my mind which should come next.
Steven Sterup Jr. The idea for The Alpha Predator came from my wife. We were watching a crime series on TV one night and she made an offhand comment. I don't want to go into details that might spoil the story but let me just say, her innocent comment was the basis for the whole book.
Steven Sterup Jr. I've never had traditional writer's block but I often suffer from the opposite. I have so many stories that I want to tell that I get stuck trying to decided which one is next.
Steven Sterup Jr. I get to create whole worlds/universes where I make up the rules. Do monsters exist? Does the hero/heroine of my story have a special ability that no one else has? Whatever I want to be true is true within the confines of my story.
Steven Sterup Jr. I've always had a strong desire to 'create something' but could never pin down what I wanted to do. It wasn't until I was convinced to write a short story by one of my good friends that I finally realized what that some was.
