The circumstances surrounding my son's death are a mystery that someday may become a book someday. He died in a jail at the age of 19. It would be non-fiction though.

A better question would be, "How do I handle being inspired to write when I'm unable to?" I'm always inspired, but the hardest thing is getting an idea and not being able to get it down immediately, while it's fresh in my mind.

I don't get writer's block. I've got so many story ideas floating around in my head, it's never been a problem.I am currently working on four WIPs at different stages: working on the first draft of second book in my western series, just finished revisions on first book in my science fantasy series, doing research and compilation on my memoir and gathering content for a book on writing. Plus always putting time in to creating content for my author's blog, "Writing to be Read".
